Three courses from 69.99 PLN, 25 Gdańsk restaurants and some seriously tempting menus. We’ve picked five places that deserve a spot on your food radar.
RestaurantWeek is back in Gdańsk, running until 25 November 2026, and the city’s restaurants are pulling out some interesting ideas.
With three-course menus starting at 69.99 PLN per person, plus a reservation fee (10.99 PLN per person in our checked booking example), it’s a chance to explore somewhere new without committing to the usual à la carte prices.
But with 25 Gdańsk locations taking part, where should you start?
We’ve looked beyond the obvious and picked five restaurants whose festival menus caught our attention. Not necessarily the most expensive or the fanciest. Just five places offering something we’d genuinely want to eat.
1. Mercato — Polish Food Gets the Fine-Dining Treatment
Targ Rybny 1, Gdańsk
If you’re going to use RestaurantWeek to experience something special, Mercato is an excellent place to start.
Located inside the Hilton Gdańsk, this Michelin-recognised restaurant takes traditional Polish ingredients and gives them a sophisticated makeover.
The menu includes boneless pork knuckle with horseradish sauce and crispy garnishes, while the alternative celeriac steak comes with a buttery emulsion and nuts. Classic apple pie with vanilla ice cream finishes things off.

Why we chose it: Because RestaurantWeek is the perfect excuse to try a more refined dining experience at an accessible festival price. Mercato offers a glimpse of what Polish cuisine can become when familiar ingredients meet serious technique.

2. JUNGLA Cocktails & Food — The Menu That Refuses to Play Safe
Targ Sienny 7, Gdańsk
JUNGLA might have one of the most adventurous menus in this year’s Gdańsk selection.
Think tuna tartare served inside crispy nori cannoli, followed by slow-cooked beef rib with truffle mashed potatoes, five-spice glaze and kimchi. Dessert brings together mandarin, vanilla and orange chocolate.

It’s an interesting collision of Asian influences, European techniques and bold flavours.
Why we chose it: Because we love restaurants that take risks. Nori cannoli and beef rib with kimchi aren’t combinations you see every day, and that’s exactly the point of a food festival — to discover something unexpected.

3. Content Restaurant — Comfort Food With a Creative Brain
Angielska Grobla 35/42, Gdańsk
Content proves that a festival menu doesn’t need unusual ingredients to be interesting. Sometimes it’s about what the kitchen does with familiar ones.

Its chicken de volaille comes filled with truffle butter, accompanied by creamy potato purée and oyster mushrooms. The vegetarian alternative features beetroot risotto with goat cheese and hazelnuts.
Dessert? Cherry crêpes or orange madeleines.
Why we chose it: Because Content strikes a balance between creativity and comfort. These are dishes that sound familiar enough to feel inviting, but the combinations suggest a kitchen putting genuine thought into every course.

4. Koku Sushi Oliwa — Sushi That Goes Beyond the Obvious
Aleja Grunwaldzka 472, Gdańsk
Forget the standard sushi set. Koku Sushi Oliwa has put together a festival menu that experiments with textures and flavours.
Expect coconut Tom Yum soup with salmon, rice noodles and oyster mushrooms, followed by sushi featuring tempura asparagus and seared fish.
There’s also a plant-based direction with tofu Tom Yum, homemade kimchi, tempeh and avocado. Dessert gets playful with chocolate pancakes in tempura and raspberry-passion-fruit sauce.

Why we chose it: Because it’s a refreshing alternative to the typical three-course European dinner. There’s variety, creativity and enough unusual combinations to make even regular sushi fans curious.

5. Pietro — Italian Comfort Food Worth Getting Dressed For
Stara Stocznia 2/7, Gdańsk
Sometimes you don’t want culinary experiments. You want Italian food done properly, with just enough imagination to keep things interesting.

Pietro delivers beef tartare bruschetta, cannelloni filled with beef ragù, mozzarella and béchamel, or creamy pumpkin orzotto with brown butter.
And then there’s dessert: panna cotta or pistachio cannoli.
Why we chose it: Because every good top five needs somewhere you’d happily take a date, a friend or simply yourself for a relaxed dinner. Pietro’s menu sounds indulgent without being complicated, and that can be just as appealing as experimental fine dining.
